- 3. Final Selection and Invitation to Present at Conference: 15th June 2025
- The Call for Abstracts is open to individuals from various backgrounds, including:
- 1. Students & Youth Advocates (of all ages*)

Students and youth advocates passionate about sustainability, climate action, and environmental issues, including participants from Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE).
* If the abstract is selected for presentation, participants under 18 will be required to have a chaperone present during the event.
- 2. Educators, Researchers, and Practitioners:

Academics, researchers, teachers and professionals involved in sustainability education, green campus management, or environmental practices.
- 3. Industry Professionals and Researchers

Individuals from both the private and public sectors contributing to sustainable practices
- 4. Policymakers and Sustainability Leaders:

Decision-makers and leaders working on policies related to sustainability, climate change, and green education.
- Accepted presentations may include empirical research, theoretical explorations, and practice-based projects that integrate perspectives from across a range of sectors and stakeholders. We particularly encourage contributions that bridge disciplines, sectors, or communities—such as collaborative initiatives between researchers and practitioners, transdisciplinary methodologies, and community-engaged scholarship.
- 1. Abstract: Should be between 200-500 words. It must include

- Title of work
- Names, affiliations, and contact details of authors
- Keywords (max. 6 words)
- 2. Language

- Abstracts must be written in English.
- 3. Optional

- Include figures, tables, appendices, citations, and references, if applicable.
- 4. Formatting

- Written in Arial, size 12 for the main text
- Arial, size 10 for acknowledgments and references (if applicable)
- APA 7th Edition citation style for references
- 5. File Format

- Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format
- 6. Anonymization

- Abstracts must be anonymized for peer review. Please ensure no identifying information is included in the abstract itself.
- 7. Ethical Considerations

- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines for research involving human subjects
- 8. Submission Deadline

- Abstracts must be submitted by 31st May 2025 by 23:59 (Malaysia Time, GMT+8:00).
- 9. Participation Options

- Accepted abstracts may be presented as oral presentations or poster presentations.
- Abstracts for organizing workshops may also be considered.
- 10. Co-authorship

- Authors may co-author multiple abstracts, but each abstract must be presented by a different co-author
- 11. Abstract Submission Limit

- Each registered participant is allowed to submit up to two abstracts for consideration.
- 12. Late Submissions

- Contributions received after the deadline or without a valid registration may not be considered nor included in the book of abstracts.
