Terms and Conditions

By submitting an abstract for the Eco-Campus International Conference 2025,
participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility:

- The Call for Abstracts is open to researchers, academics, students (of all ages), and professionals in the fields of sustainability, environmental education, and related disciplines.
- Submissions are welcomed from both individual contributors and groups.
- All abstract submissions must be original work and must not have been previously published or presented at another conference.
Abstract Submission:

- Abstracts must be submitted through the official conference submission platform.
- All abstracts must be written in English.
- The abstract must be concise and clearly outline the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions of the proposed research or project.
- The abstract must not exceed 500 words.
Submission Deadline:

- All abstracts must be submitted by 31st May 2025, by 23:59 (Malaysia Time, GMT+8:00).
- Late submissions will not be considered.
Review and Selection:

- Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference’s scientific committee
- Selection criteria will include relevance to the conference theme, originality, scientific rigor, and clarity.
- The authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their abstract by 15th June 2025 via email.
Acceptance and Presentation:

- Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to register for the conference to present their work. Authors under 18 will be required to have a chaperone present during the event.
- Abstracts may be presented in a variety of formats, including oral presentations or poster sessions, as determined by the conference organizers. Abstracts for organizing workshops may also be considered.
- Authors may be asked to revise their abstracts or make further clarifications as part of the acceptance process.
- The conference organizers reserve the right to reassign the type of presentation based on the final program
Abstract Publication:

- Accepted abstracts may be published in the conference proceedings or related materials.
- By submitting an abstract, the author grants the conference organizers permission to publish the abstract and any related materials.
Copyright and Permissions:

- The submitting author warrants that the abstract does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others and that any necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted material have been obtained.
- The author grants the conference organizers the right to publish and distribute the abstract as part of the conference proceedings and related promotional materials.
Withdrawal of Abstracts:

- If an author wishes to withdraw their abstract after submission, they must notify the conference organizers in writing by 15th June 2025.
- Failure to withdraw the abstract before the specified deadline may result in a penalty or exclusion from future conference activities.
Conference Registration:

- Authors of accepted abstracts are required to register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fees. Registration details will be provided upon acceptance.
- If the presenting author is unable to attend, they must notify the conference organizers in advance and, if applicable, designate a substitute presenter.
Liability:

- The conference organizers are not responsible for any costs or damages incurred by the authors during the submission, review, or presentation processes.
- The authors are responsible for all travel, accommodation, and registration costs associated with their participation in the conference.
Confidentiality:

- All submissions will be treated confidentially during the review process. Authors are encouraged to ensure their submissions adhere to confidentiality requirements when applicable.
Amendment of Terms:

- The conference organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated to the authors as necessary.
Acceptance:

- By submitting an abstract, the author acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
