General Information
Event Dates and Suggested Arrival:

The events will be hosted at the International Youth Center (IYC), Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Participants are advised to plan their travel accordingly and confirm their accommodation early to secure their preferred options.
Before your trip, please ensure you have the necessary documents for entry into Malaysia, including a valid passport and visa (if required). For further details on travel requirements, visit: Immigration Malaysia Official Site.
Travel Information
Arriving in Kuala Lumpur:
- Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA or KLIA2): The main airports for international arrivals.
- Distance to IYC: ~60 km (~1 hour drive by car or taxi).
Transport Options from KLIA/KLIA2 to International Youth Centre (IYC):
- KLIA Express Train:
- From KLIA/KLIA2 to KL Sentral Station (35 minutes, non-stop). KLIA Express tickets: ~RM55 (one-way)
- From KL Sentral, take a taxi or use the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) to Salak Selatan Station (MRT) on the Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line (~RM3-5) or use the LRT (Light Rail Transit) to Bandar Tun Razak Station (LRT) on the Sri Petaling Line (~RM3).
- From either station, take a short ride via Grab (local ride-hailing app) to IYC (~RM10-20, depending on traffic and demand).
- Airport Taxi or Ride-Hailing Services:
- Airport Taxi: The fare for an airport taxi from KLIA/KLIA2 to downtown Kuala Lumpur typically ranges between RM75 to RM100, depending on the type of taxi selected. Toll charges are usually included, but it’s advisable to confirm this with the driver beforehand. Please note that a 50% surcharge applies for trips between 11:30 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Grab (Ride-Hailing Service): Uber services are not available in Malaysia. Instead, participants can use Grab, a widely available and reliable local ride-hailing app. Fares for a standard GrabCar from KLIA/KLIA2 to downtown Kuala Lumpur typically range from RM60 to RM70, with an additional toll charge of RM10, making the total cost approximately RM70 to RM80.
- For larger groups or those needing additional space, Grab offers 6-seater vehicles starting around RM75 and up, depending on demand and distance. Premium vehicle options are also available through the Grab app.
- Either option eliminates the need for trains or local transit. Please note that the provided fares are estimates and may vary based on traffic, time of day, and demand. We recommend using the Grab app to check the latest rates, compare available options, and account for any potential surcharges before traveling.
Accommodation
Participants are advised to book accommodation at one of the suggested hotels listed below (Table A). Please secure your booking early to ensure availability.
Please note that NO shuttle buses will be provided, and any related expenses will not be reimbursed by the organizers.

Meal Breaks
Lunch, and tea/coffee breaks will be provided for all participants as a courtesy from 18th to 20th September 2025.
If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform the organizers in advance.
Participants should be aware that any meals beyond those provided will be at their own expense and will not be reimbursed by the organizers.
Venue Access and Security
All participants must present a valid ID (passport or local ID) at the security checkpoint to enter the venue. Student attendees are also required to bring their Student ID for verification purposes.
Event badges will be issued upon registration and must be worn at all times during the event.
